Do you have a passion for writing? Do your friends often ask your opinion on new places to go and things to do? Do you have a perspective on a big issue you’d like to share? Maybe you’re building a portfolio or would like your work to be seen by tens of thousands of people?
Well, we’re looking for new contributors, so perhaps you’d like to write for The Triangle Review! While this is a non-paid opportunity, your work will be seen by a large audience making it great for exposure and portfolio building.
When Isaac and I first started this site, we planned to grow it into an awesome community space that would become a collaborative work that was more representative of the diverse population of our area. Listicles, articles, parenting tidbits, reviews, or opinion pieces…let’s see them! We are also open to artwork or photography (which we can also feature on our Instagram gallery with a credit/link).
Please agree to licensing terms below, and e-mail your submission to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Include a 2-3 sentence bio with your submission (social channels and blog hyperlinked, please!)
Paste your post directly in the body of your e-mail. Please only submit original content.
- For the subject line of your email, please write “Submission- (title of your article)”.
Do not double space after periods or between paragraphs.
- If you are submitting a photo, it should be high resolution and landscape size (horizontal). Please send the original photograph rather than Instagram image.
Note: We are in search of highly relatable material. Lists (ex: Ten Places To Beat The Summer Heat in Raleigh) and short essays (under 900 words) seem to work best, while personal anecdotes or specific personal stories do not.
Due to the high volume of activity we run on the backend, you will hear from us within two weeks if we are able to run your post. If you do not hear from us within that time frame, please feel free to submit elsewhere.
