Festival season is creeping up and we’re so looking forward to it! With the mostly warmer weather (mostly because NC weather is fickle as can be), we can almost taste it.
We just got the scoop on what lies ahead for Moogfest this year. The annual festival which celebrates art, music, and technology will be back in Durham May 18-21 for four days of performances, installations, tributes, workshops, conversations, and other unique programming such as an all night sleep concert.
Currently, there are over 150 artists performing over the weekend with 40 of them also leading workshops, sessions, or classes. Eight themes will be the primary focus including Hacking Systems, Protest, Spatial Sound, Sci-Fi Wishes & Utopian Dreams, Transhumanism, Techno-Shamanism, The Future of Creativity, and The Joyful Noise of STEAM. The Protest theme will include a protest stage for the travel ban and HB2. More information on that lineup to come.
Tickets for the full festival range from $249 for general admission and $499 for VIP admission. They are on sale now.
